Pilot Projects will host an event to discuss the role of sustainable forest management, certified and conservation timber, and innovations in the built environment and urban construction in the transition towards more resilient, circular, and carbon-neutral tropical cities.

The event will gather experts, government representatives, architects, civil society organizations, indigenous representatives, and local communities to explore concrete pathways towards a sustainable urban future grounded in forest conservation at Aldeia COP.

In addition to the discussion, we will present our Habitat Bio initiative, a mobile hub constructed from sustainable Amazonian timber, showcasing nature-based solutions. The hub will be adopted as a permanent research and outreach station by the Tapajós Amazon Model Forest and UFOPA after its construction.
