Forest Value Hub & value chain development

The fastest way to lose a forest is to make it worth more cut down than left standing. Forest Value Hubs are our answer to that. Working with local communities, we build the infrastructure, training, and relationships that connect sustainably sourced timber and non timber forest products to real markets, so that keeping a forest standing becomes the better economic choice.

The model links the whole chain. We connect small producers to reliable buyers, to shared equipment, kiln drying, and group certification, and we pair local craft traditions with international designers to spark new products. Just as importantly, we work on equity, institutional capacity, and collaboration so the value created is actually shared. Recent work includes hubs in Guyana's interior forest communities and a Design and Innovation Hub developing new product lines from wood wastes, non timber forest products, and veneers.
